1. Alcoholism: A Study in Mahadevsthan, Dhading, Nepal - 2016
Abstract
This study is about the research which aims to dig out the core causes or factors of the alcoholism seen in the Chepang community as well as the impact of alcoholism in the community. The study has been completed on the bases of the primary data collected in the natural setting of the Chepang community situated in Mahadevsthan, Dhading, Nepal. 15 participants were asked in this study which has followed qualitative approach. The study has found various causes of alcoholism and impacts of it in the Chepang community where the core reason which led to alcoholism is that they assume alcohol as the tradition of their cast and they follow it and passing it to the upcoming generation too. Similarly, this assumption has imposed a great impact on them which has shadowed the enrollment of student in the school and has hindered their education. More of the causes and impact have been discussed in the report.
